SUGAR N SPICE BACKGROUND

Sugar ‘n Spice Children’s Academy is a well-established licensed childcare and preschool provider in the Lafayette, LA area with a strong focus on nurturing early learning and school readiness for children from infants through pre-K and beyond. They’re known for creating an engaging, fun, and growth-centered environment for families.

 

Despite its strong reputation and long history in the community, the brand identity had become dated, inconsistent, and didn’t reflect the warmth and vibrant energy of the experience they provide.

THE MAIN OBJECTIVE

The goal of this rebrand was to modernize and unify the Sugar ’n Spice brand while preserving its playful, child-friendly essence, improving overall visual appeal and brand recognition across both print and digital platforms, and creating a flexible, scalable brand system that could seamlessly adapt across multiple locations, materials, and real-world applications.

This project reinforced the importance of balancing playful, child-focused design with the professionalism parents expect, while also highlighting the value of building a cohesive, scalable brand system that remains consistent and effective across a wide range of applications.
